Google Chrome’s New Zoom on Mobile Follows Android OS Accessibility Settings

Okay so Chrome for Android's latest update now 'follows' Android OS-level system accessibility settings for zoom (text size) - which may come as a surprise to many of you.

If OS-level text under accessibility is set to larger than default - Chrome browser will then show the following 'Zoom' menu item and text will appear zoomed but this might come as a surprise to developers who suddenly see their layouts at 10% larger or more without any warning.

All you'll see is the menu item above, but no indication that the text in the browser is actually zoomed.

...especially given that the 'Zoom' amount under Chrome will still read '100%' or 'default' and not '110%' or more or give any indication other than showing the menu item that the text size is now following accessibility settings. :-(
